About the Hospital and Department:

• Hospital: Non-Profit, 400+ bed not for profit hospital
• Southeastern US Location - located in the suburb of a major metro area
• Over 50k annual visits and a team of 55+ FTE's
• Position reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, who has been with the health system for over seven (7) years

About the Position:

Primary responsibilities will include managing the day to day operations of the department, improving and maintaining key performance indicators, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying process improvements, establishing goals and objectives for the department, and building positive physician relationships. We are seeking a collaborative and dynamic leader who will be able to ensure the best patient care is provided to our community.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Master's degree required / BSN required
• Active RN License
• 5+ years of ER clinical nursing experience required
• 3+ years of ER leadership experience as a Manager or Director required
• Must have a demonstrated track record of success in ER leadership - improving outcomes, patient and employee satisfaction
• Should possess excellent communication skills across all levels
• Collaborative and inspirational leadership style
