Women’s & Children’s Services – Director of Nursing

Nealy Pierce has been engaged by a prominent and growing 350+ bed, not-for-profit hospital, to assist in the recruitment of a Nurse Director for their Women & Children’s Services. This position will oversee multiple units totaling over 80-beds with 115+ FTEs while being supported by 3 Nurse Managers, 2 Clinical Nurse Specialists, Unit-based Educators, and Clinical Coordinators. This health system has been named a Top 15 Health System for four consecutive years and the hospital has been named a Top 100 Hospital 3 years running. Director of Women/Children’s Services Requirements:

  • Operational experience as a Nurse Manager in a unit within the service line required
  • Operational experience as a Director over a Women’s or Children’s service line preferred
  • Strong background as a staff nurse in a unit within the service line required
  • Ability to work in a collaborative role and champion change
  • Strong physician relationship skill set
  • Bachelors <x{(}>(BSN) required, Masters preferred
