About the Hospital and Department:

• Position will manage a growing 30 ED that sees over 60k annual visits
• Will manage a team of ~80 FTE's
• Well supported by a Manager, team of Charge RN's and an Educator
• Reports directly to an experienced and transformational Director of Nursing who has been with the health system for over 10 years

About the Director, Emergency Department (RN):

Primary responsibilities will include the strategic oversight of the department, ensuring policies and procedures are up to date, preparing the department for Joint Commission and other regulatory agency visits, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, building positive physician relationships, and providing the safest level of patient care to the community.

Qualifications & Requirements for Director, Emergency Department (RN):

• BSN degree required / Master's preferred
• Active RN License State of Georgia
• 5+ years of ER clinical nursing experience required
• 3+ years of ER leadership experience as a Manager or Director required
• CEN and NE-BC are highly preferred
• Must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in improving employee satisfaction/engagement, throughput times, and patient experience/satisfaction
• TRANSFORMATIONAL and collaborative leadership style
