Director, Emergency and Trauma Services (RN)

Nealy Pierce, LLC has been engaged by a Magnet designated non-profit health system to help identify, attract, and hire a Director, Emergency and Trauma Services (RN) to join their leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing inspirational and strategic leadership for our flagship level II trauma center that sees over 90,000 ED patient visits per year.

The position reports directly to a collaborative and supportive Chief Nursing Officer and has responsibility for a team of 200+ FTE's. The role has a strong level of support including a team of Nurse Managers, Clinical Coordinators, Charge Nurses, Educators and a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Our ideal candidate for the Director, Emergency and Trauma Services position should be able to create a vision for the department, serve as a mentor to your team, ensure best practices utilizing evidence based research, build collaborative relationships across all levels, be fiscally responsible and able to successfully manage a budget, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory standards.

Qualified candidates should have at least three (3) years Emergency Department nursing leadership experience in a busy ED / Trauma Center setting, and at least five (5) years of clinical ED nursing experience. RN Active License. Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required. Master's preferred.
